The impeller of a centrifugal compressor operating in highly corrosive gas environments is manufactured from titanium alloy (such as Ti-6Al-4V) or super duplex steel (such as 2507). With low density, high specific strength, and stable natural passivation film, it achieves resistance to chlorine gas, HCl, wet hydrogen sulfide, and acidic steam. Service life exceeds 8000-12000 hours, far surpassing traditional stainless steel materials. Surface enhancements include PVD coated TiN/TiC hard coating or anodized treatment to improve resistance to pitting and micro motion wear, meeting ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free clean standards.
